6th Anniversary FAQ's


Why? - Raise funds for The Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation and a local family in the Valley in need of our support. Plus, tasty beer, food & a great time as we celebrate our 6th Birthday!

Where? - Valley Players Theater, 4254 Main Street, Route 100, Waitsfield, VT.

Parking?Waitsfield Telecom parking lot (PLEASE stay off grass), 3898 Main St, Waitsfield, VT. FREE SHUTTLE runs from 1:30 to 5:00 pm to/from venue. Limited parking available along Route 100.

Bottles sales? - Lawson's Finest Beer Lovers Market from 2-6pm while supplies last. We use a deli-style number system. Get your numbered ticket starting at 12:00 Noon in front of the theater with a schedule and beer order form.  List/prices and a schedule below. Watch our blog for updated instructions on bottle limits and exciting news!

How does the number system work for bottle sales? - See schedule below.

How much beer will you have? - We will have more than enough draft for both day and nite.
Bottles - The first ~200 people who get numbered tickets will find a full selection of our bottled offerings. We will have enough bottles to cover up to ticket #350 with purchase of up to 5 bottles.

Beer Lover’s Market? - 2-6pm, free admission, great local farm and food vendors; 7 draft lines of Lawson’s Finest Liquids, Lawson’s merchandise for sale.

Beer Lovers Ball? -  (SOLD-OUT) 7-11pm, 21 and over only, live music from The Grift, Mad Taco dinner buffet, cash bar with 8 varieties of Lawson's Finest on tap. Admission includes one draft pour in a souvenir Lawson's tulip glass. No bottle sales, merchandise sales ends at 8pm.  NOTE: Tickets purchased online require ID at the door that matches the name on the ticket. If you want to transfer your online ticket, you must email megsevents@gmavt.net with the name of person.

Transportation? - Alpine Limo rocks - FREE shuttle service! To/from parking lot 1:30-5:00pm; ALSO to/from Mad River Valley (Waitsfield, Warren, Moretown, Fayston) and the Beer Lovers Ball 6-10:45pm. To arrange a pick-up for transport to the evening event, you must text or call Mike at 802-793-3543, prior to 6pm on Saturday 4/19. C&L Taxi in Warren is also available. Be safe and have a designated driver!

Lodging? - Hostel Tevere & The Mad River Barn Inn. Ask for the Lawson’s Finest Liquids special rate when booking your reservation.

We use a deli-style number system for bottle sales. We begin handing out numbers at 12:00 noon in front of the Valley Players theater. We will hand out up to 375 numbers (one per person). You will return to purchase your bottles according to the schedule below. We have a red LED lighted sign with the number being served at the bottles sales tables and will call your number. If you miss your number, join the end of line at the bottle table.

Sean, if we are there for the bottle event on Saturday and are lucky enough to get a ticket, are we guaranteed to be able to purchase bottles irrespective of what time we're there to pick it up? i.e...are the bottles we want reserved for us or are the numbers chronological and we have to be there when the ticket number is called?

  2. The schedule is above. The number ticket will have a beer menu on it. We call numbers chronologically. The number only guarantees an opportunity to purchase bottles (up to #350) not any specific beer. Some varieties will begin to run-out once we reach #200.
